Step away from the noise of daily life. Spend three days at the foot of the sacred Arunachala mountain, using silence, storytelling, and reflection to reconnect with your own inner voice.

A glimpse into the flow of our three-day inner voice healing workshop. We journey together through guided reflection, expressive movement, and the quiet power of shared silence.

This video shows the vibrant energy of our certified storytelling courses. We explore voice projection, body language, and even puppet making to learn how stories can be felt, not just told.

About The Anthardhwani Retreat: A Journey Within

This isn't a passive workshop where you just sit and listen. It is a three-day residential immersion at the foot of the Arunachala mountain where we use group expressive therapy, art, and guided silence to help you process what is stuck. You will be staying in simple, shared ashram-style accommodation at Shivalaya, focusing on vegetarian meals and the deep stillness of the mountain to clear your mental clutter.

At the core of this retreat is the concept of Anthardhwani—the voice inside all the noise. We often carry narratives we didn't write for ourselves, and this space is designed to help you peel those layers back. You won't be expected to perform or get it right. Instead, the agenda includes guided reflection, meditative walks around the Girivalam path, and group healing sessions where we use journaling and art as tools for release.

Why Tiruvannamalai? Because the mountain sets a rhythm that the city simply cannot match. The silence here is centuries old, and it serves as the backdrop for our work. This environment forces a disconnect from the digital hustle, allowing your internal monologue to come to the surface.

The experience is built for those who feel stuck, whether in a corporate career or a creative rut. You do not need prior storytelling experience. You just need a willingness to pause and listen to your own internal scripts. You will leave with a new set of tools for self-reflection that you can carry home, long after the retreat ends. We provide everything you need—the Inner Voice Journal, art supplies, and wholesome vegetarian meals—so you can focus entirely on the process.

I have spent 45 years listening to stories, but the most important one is the one you tell yourself. I facilitate these retreats not as an instructor, but as a guide, helping you strip away the daily noise so you can finally hear your own inner voice.
