About Storytelling Training & Certification
Why I Teach Storytelling
I’ve been a storyteller for over 45 years. For me, it’s not just about spinning a good yarn - it’s about helping people feel heard, seen, and connected. I believe we’re all made of stories, shaped by our own experiences and the elements around us. Listening comes first, always. If you can really listen, you’ll know how to share your own story in a way that lands.
What My Training Looks Like
My 3-day experiential storytelling workshop is hands-on, full of laughter, and nothing like a traditional classroom. Whether you’re with me in person or online, you’ll get space to discover your own voice and learn from others. I guide you through:
- Using the Voice Toolkit - we play with vowel sounds, explore voice modulation for storytelling, and dig up those expressive tones you didn’t know you had.
- Bringing stories alive with gestures, movement, and facial expressions.
- Building solid narratives that actually keep people hooked.
- Techniques for holding attention and creating genuine moments of connection.
- Practicing active listening - because every storyteller needs to be a great listener.
Who Comes & What You Get
I’ve trained over 98,000 folks - teachers, artists, parents, managers, and anyone who wants to communicate better. After the course, you’ll get a storyteller certification program certificate, recognized internationally. If you’re keen, there’s a deeper diploma with mentorship where we go pro.
The Real Deal
You’ll walk away with a cartload of experiences, not just skills. Some bits are tough, some are pure fun. But if you’re ready to find your own voice, I’d love to see you in the circle.

My Story
People say when you’re ready, the teacher shows up. For me, 27 years back, the message was simple: ‘You are a Storyteller.’ Been at it for 45 years now. Not always easy, sometimes I wonder—why keep going? Then someone walks in, like the principal with knee surgery, and her grit gives me my answer. I get nervous still, even at IIM Bangalore. But once the stories start, magic happens. Stories in every tongue, sometimes I’ll sing a Bengali line, or begin in Kannada. It’s not just fun—stories help you find your own Anthardhwani, your voice inside all the noise.
My Work
What We Offer - Storytelling performances, heritage tale walks, certified storytelling courses, workshops for parents, teachers, corporates, and masterclasses for caregivers, online and offline.
Our Way - We use puppets, masks, movement, rhythm, music—sometimes you’ll sing, sometimes just listen. It’s all about play and creativity.
Why Join Us - It’s not just stories. You leave with experiences, active listening skills, and maybe a bit closer to your own inner voice.
Who Can Join - Parents, teachers, professionals, or anyone wanting to grow, connect, or just get lost in stories.
