About Storytelling Performances & Events
I've spent over four decades as a storyteller, and honestly, every session still feels new. Storytelling, for me, isn't just about performing. It's about making people feel something real, building a space where you can listen, react, and actually be part of the story.
What My Sessions Offer
- I pull from a huge mix: folklore, legends, myths, and even some stories I've cooked up myself. Kannada stories, Indian epics, world tales - all get a spot if they fit the vibe.
- Usually, it’s not just me talking. I use puppets, masks, and simple instruments - bells, little drums, whatever fits the mood.
- I love when the audience gets involved. Sometimes you’ll end up acting out a bit or giving your own spin to a story. It’s a shared space, not a lecture.
Where You’ll Find Me
- Festivals, literature events, and schools - I’ve done them all. I also do interactive story events for companies, book launches, or just community hangouts (apartment complexes, parks, you name it).
- My heritage tale walks are a bit different. We walk through old city spots, and I tell stories as we go. You get to see the place in a whole new way - like discovering secrets hidden in plain sight.
For Everyone
Kids (5+), grown-ups, families, or just a curious bunch of friends - there’s always a story that’ll click. If you want immersive storytelling sessions or something truly unique for your event, that's what I do.
Stories are for everyone, yaar. All you need is a little curiosity.

My Story
People say when you’re ready, the teacher shows up. For me, 27 years back, the message was simple: ‘You are a Storyteller.’ Been at it for 45 years now. Not always easy, sometimes I wonder—why keep going? Then someone walks in, like the principal with knee surgery, and her grit gives me my answer. I get nervous still, even at IIM Bangalore. But once the stories start, magic happens. Stories in every tongue, sometimes I’ll sing a Bengali line, or begin in Kannada. It’s not just fun—stories help you find your own Anthardhwani, your voice inside all the noise.
