About Voices of Transformation: Participant Stories
It is rarely about learning the mere mechanics of telling a story. As Mona, one of our participants from Bhopal, shared after her recent three-day course, the real breakthrough happened when she finally allowed herself to express what she had been holding inside. The exercises we do with voice, movement, and silence are not about performance; they are about unlocking the parts of you that have been waiting to be heard.
Participants often come to our sessions carrying a heavy bag of questions, much like Mona did. During our intensive courses and residential retreats, we dismantle the pressure to perform and replace it with the permission to be. We do not lecture. We work with puppets, masks, and rhythm to bypass the logical mind. When you stop worrying about how you sound and start focusing on what you feel, something happens.
