My Philosophy & Public Talks
Stories are the threads that weave our belief systems together. Here, I share the core of my practice and reflections from the stages I have been fortunate enough to walk.
At the Ooty Literary Festival, where I spoke on how narratives shape our belief systems. It was a joy to share the transformative power of storytelling with such a curious audience.
About My Philosophy & Public Talks
When I stand on a stage, whether at the Ooty Literary Festival or a private workshop, I never just lecture. I weave a myth to show how narratives shape our belief systems, because stories are the safest way to touch difficult truths. My public talks are an invitation to examine your own life scripts and see if they still serve the person you have become.
For the last 45 years, I have believed that storytelling is not merely a performance art, but a tool for connection. When I share my philosophy, I am essentially asking you to listen to yourself. My public appearances, from literary festivals to educational conferences, follow a simple rule: they must be experiential.
If you attend a session, do not expect a standard presentation. I use the same tools I use in my retreats, such as rhythm, voice, and personal narrative, to bridge the gap between the speaker and the listener. At events like the Ooty Literature Festival, I have seen even the most skeptical audience members pause when a story strikes a chord. That moment of silence is the Anthardhwani, or inner voice, making itself heard.
My goal is always to demonstrate that your personal narrative is not static. It is a living, breathing thing that you can reframe, rewrite, and release. If you are looking to host a talk, organize a workshop, or bring a new perspective to your school or corporate team, these sessions are designed to move beyond the surface level of entertainment and into the territory of genuine transformation.
Geeta Ramanujam
I have spent 45 years listening to the world and learning how to tell its stories back to it. Whether in a quiet retreat or on a large stage, my purpose is simple: to help you hear your own voice. If you are ready to explore the stories that define you, let's talk.
