About Behind the Seams: Our Craftsmanship
When you choose a custom ensemble, you enter a collaborative dialogue. Whether you visit our Defence Colony studio or join a virtual consultation, we prioritize structural integrity. Before we touch your final silk or satin, we create a raw cotton mock-up known as a toile. This allows us to perfect the architecture of the corset and the fall of the drape, ensuring the final piece fits with precision before a single bead is sewn.
The Anatomy of Our Process
True couture is not merely about aesthetic. It is about engineering. Our atelier operates on the principle that the internal structure must support the external beauty. When we build a corset, we integrate 10 to 12 steel or spiral bones to provide waist shaping and support, balanced by underwired cups for the perfect silhouette. This internal skeleton ensures that garments like our fit-and-flare gowns or modern lehengas retain their shape regardless of how they are styled.
Cord Memory and Textural Craft
Our signature 'Cord Memory' work is born from hours of repetitive, meditative hand-labor. We use zari cords to build 3D textures directly onto the fabric, creating patterns that catch light differently than flat embroidery. This technique is applied to bodices, collars, and belts, transforming cloth into a sculptural surface. Every knot and stitch is placed with intention, ensuring the final garment feels like a wearable archive of the design process.

Distance does not prevent us from delivering a precise fit. We have refined our virtual styling process to include:
- Collaborative Design: We connect via video to view fabric swatches, discuss drape styles, and select embellishments.
- Remote Fitting Support: We guide you through taking accurate body measurements to ensure the Made-to-Measure sizing is exact.
- Progress Transparency: We share updates on embroidery samples and construction milestones, bringing our Delhi studio to your home.
