About this collection

When I design a blouse, I focus on the little things that actually change how you feel when you wear it. I always include high-quality cotton lining so it stays comfortable all day, and I build in 2-3 inch margins inside so you can easily adjust the size later. It is not just about the fabric, but about how it sits on your shoulders and frames your back, ensuring you feel confident whether you are wearing a traditional saree or a modern drape.

I believe a blouse should be as unique as the person wearing it. When we work together, we are not just picking a neckline; we are deciding on the story your outfit tells.

My Approach to Custom Blouses

  • The Fit: Whether you prefer princess-cut tailoring or need specific bust padding, I prioritize a wrinkle-free finish. I use superior quality fusing canvas to give the blouse structure without feeling stiff.
  • The Details: I love doing hand-done Aari or Zardosi work. From subtle, scattered buttas for a daily wear look to heavy, intricate bridal-style embroidery, we can decide the scope together.
  • Necklines & Backs: I specialize in everything from classic, modest cuts to modern halter necks, deep backs with tassels, and strapless bandeau styles. If you have a specific reference or just a rough idea, I will sketch it out until it feels right.
  • Your Amma’s Saree: Many of my clients bring in their mother’s or grandmother’s sarees. It is a joy to design a fresh, modern blouse that gives these heirlooms a new life. We look at the saree's texture and color to pick fabrics like raw silk, velvet, or brocade that complement it perfectly.

Why Collaborate with Me?

I make everything from scratch at my studio in Padmanabhanagar. It is a collaborative process where your comfort is non-negotiable. I avoid scratchy threads near the neck and underarms, and I ensure the construction allows you to move freely. You can share your ideas, and I will keep you in the loop through every step of the process. Whether you are in Bengaluru or connecting with me from abroad, let's create something you will love reaching for again and again.
