Designing for Distance

I have worked with brides like Adithi, who trusted me to create her classic all-gold bridal outfit while she was living abroad. We managed the measurements and design details remotely, ensuring the hand-embroidered blouse fit perfectly when she arrived a few days before the wedding. If you are not in Bangalore, we will make the process just as collaborative and smooth.

The Technical Details

What makes an outfit comfortable isn't just the design, but the internal structure.

• Support: For gowns and heavy lehengas, I include proper corsetry or boning in the bodice to give you shape and support without needing heavy innerwear.
• Comfort: I use high-quality, pre-washed cotton linings. If you are wearing a langa dhavani, I make sure the can-can layers are balanced so you get that perfect flare without feeling weighed down.
• Longevity: We use 2-3 inch margins on all pieces, so you have room to adjust the fit later if needed.
