Custom Saree Blouse Designs for Every Occasion
Every saree has a story, and the blouse is how we tell it. Whether you are prepping for a wedding or a festive event, I create custom blouses that fit your frame and match your personal style perfectly.
The back of a bridal blouse is just as important as the front. For Sonal Monteiro's wedding, I designed this intricate pattern with heavy zardosi and beadwork, ensuring she looked stunning from every angle.
A bespoke golden blouse for actress Reeshma Nanaiah. The blouse is made from the same fabric as her tissue silk saree, with delicate hand embroidery on the sleeves to add a touch of sparkle without overpowering the look.
For the 'UI' movie promotions, I designed this concept saree for Reeshma Nanaiah. The highlight is the heavily embellished halter-neck blouse, paired with a pre-draped satin saree for a modern, red-carpet-ready look.
A classic combination for actress Vaishnavi Gowda. I designed this simple yet elegant mustard yellow blouse with a unique neckline to pair with her dark green saree. It's a timeless look perfect for any festive occasion.
This beautiful silver-blue Kanjivaram saree is paired with a custom blouse I designed. The blouse features delicate, matching blue embroidery on the sleeves, adding a personalized touch to the traditional ensemble.
Actress Vaishnavi Gowda in a lovely pink linen saree. I designed a simple, matching blouse to go with it, letting the texture of the saree and the beautiful temple jewelry be the main focus.
A simple and vibrant look. I designed this full-sleeve blue blouse with scattered pearl details to be paired with a bright yellow chiffon saree. It's a fresh and youthful combination.
About this collection
I focus entirely on how the fabric sits on your body. Whether you want minimal detailing or heavy handwork like Maggam or Zardosi, we talk about the look you want, and I guide you on what will actually feel comfortable for hours, not just look good for photos.
When you come to my studio in Vijayanagar, we do not just take measurements. We talk about the fabric, the occasion, and the vibe you want to carry. A great blouse is about construction. I look at the balance of the neckline, the placement of the sleeves, and the structure of the back design to ensure the blouse supports the saree drape perfectly.
If you have a Kancheevaram or a simple linen saree, the approach changes. For traditional silks, I often recommend classic Maggam work, focusing on detailing that highlights your jewelry rather than fighting with it. For modern or fusion looks, I experiment with tulle net, unique necklines, or even incorporating personal items like a gold brooch you love into the design.
I handle the fittings personally. My process usually includes at least two trials. This is not just to check the size, but to ensure the fall and the silhouette work for you. Whether you tell me 'thumba heavy work beda' (I do not want too much heavy work) or you want an intricate bridal piece that stands out, we work together to get it right before the final stitch. You are getting a piece that feels like an extension of your own personality.
