About Custom Occasion Wear
It’s never just about the outfit for me. Wearing something special, like a saree that reminds me of my Amma, feels like draping on courage and nostalgia all at once. Every piece I make is about capturing that feeling for you too.
What I Love Creating
- Bespoke ethnic wear for any big day: engagements, milestone birthdays, baby showers, or graduation
- Lehengas and gowns, both classic and modern, with options like mermaid cuts or pastel florals
- Hand-embroidered blouses that can give your mom’s Kanjeevaram saree a whole new vibe
For Families & Kids
- Mom-daughter matching outfits are a favourite, from hand-painted gowns to coordinated party sets
- Custom family occasion outfits, including stylish langa dhavanis and lehengas for teens and kids
Modern with a Touch of Tradition
- Indo-Western pieces like co-ord sets, jumpsuits, or jacket-skirt combos for a swalpa (just a little) modern twist
- Every detail is chosen together - sometimes that means adding a personal motif, or going all out with hand-embroidery
How I Work
- I make everything from scratch, just for you
- It’s collaborative - your ideas matter, and I’ll keep you in the loop till your outfit feels just right
- Whether you’re in Bangalore or abroad, I’ve got ways to make it work
It’s not always perfect - sometimes timelines stretch or a detail needs tweaking. But what matters is, I’m all in for making your outfit a core memory.

My Story
When I catch myself in the mirror, I see Amma’s face and I just smile. Sarees are my thing, like an armour, you know? Kalasthree started when I was 23, and now—13 years later—it’s not just me, it’s my team, my family. We’ve grown together. Designing my niece’s graduation outfit, dressing up brides, being part of those big moments—this is what fills me up. I feel grateful, honestly.
