About Festive & Cultural Workshops

In these sessions, we shift focus from the final product to the process itself. Whether your child is sculpting an eco-friendly Ganesha or painting a Janmashtami pot, they aren't just following instructions; they are exploring sensory textures, making independent choices, and building the confidence to express themselves. It is less about creating a 'perfect' piece and more about the calm, mindful joy of making something with their own hands.

Why Cultural Workshops Matter

At Kalarang Club, we believe festivals are the perfect setting for learning because they are rooted in stories and emotion. Instead of telling kids to 'study,' we invite them to participate in culture through art. This connects them to their heritage while developing the 4 Cs: creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication.

What We Create

These workshops are designed to be therapeutic, hands-on, and accessible. We don't just paint; we use art as a medium for growth:

  • Eco-Sculpting: During Ganesh Chaturthi, children learn to sculpt using terracotta clay, understanding the environmental impact while creating something special.
  • Storytelling & Crafts: From Diwali kandils (lanterns) to Janmashtami pots, every craft comes with a story. We talk about the history and significance, turning art time into a holistic learning session.
  • Seasonal Themes: Whether it is Christmas trees or Independence Day symbols, we use simple materials to spark complex imagination.

Format & Flexibility

We keep sessions small (5-15 children) to ensure every child gets focused attention.

  • Offline: Available in Dombivli (Mumbai) and Sector 76 (Noida). I provide all materials—just bring the enthusiasm.
  • Online: For families outside these hubs, we host via Zoom. I guide parents on setting up basic materials, ensuring the same therapeutic focus and creative freedom.
  • Who joins? While tailored for kids aged 4+, our festive workshops are open to families. Grandparents and siblings often join in, making it a beautiful way to bond.

Hi, I am Sharvari. I started Kalarang Club because I saw how art could help kids bloom, especially shy or distracted ones. I am not here to teach 'perfect' art; I am here to facilitate a space where your child feels free to explore, get messy, and grow their confidence through our cultural themes.
