We bring our traditions to life through hands-on art and storytelling. From clay idols to festive T-shirt painting, children learn the stories behind our celebrations in a space where everyone belongs.

A glimpse into our Holi workshop, where we combined DIY T-shirt and cap painting with the joy of playing with flowers. It was a day of vibrant colors, creativity, and festive fun for everyone involved.

Our Holi celebration is all about safe, creative fun. The children loved designing their own caps and T-shirts before enjoying a beautiful Phoolon ki Holi, making it a truly memorable festival of colors.

Even our youngest artist, at just 2.5 years old, got into the festive spirit. With a little help, she created her own hand-printed T-shirt, showing that creativity has no age limit at our Holi workshops.

For Holi, I love creating festive decor using sustainable, upcycled materials. This shows the children that we can celebrate our traditions beautifully while also being mindful and kind to our planet.

A look back at our past Holi workshops, filled with color and creativity. This year, we are excited to include a special T-shirt painting session, so kids can wear their own festive art.

At our studio, festivals are also about making friends for life. Here, two little girls dressed as Radha enjoy a dandiya dance during our Janmashtami workshop, building bonds and happy memories together.

A quick look at the vibrant decorations and joyful atmosphere of our Janmashtami celebrations. We create an immersive environment where every child feels part of the story and the festivities.

We believe in involving every child in the rituals. During our Janmashtami celebration, each child participated in the aarti, helping them connect with the traditions in a meaningful and personal way.

The studio was beautifully decorated for our Janmashtami celebration. We use traditional elements like marigold flowers and peacock feathers to create an authentic and festive atmosphere for the children.

Storytelling is a core part of our festival workshops. During Janmashtami, we gathered for a session of stories, bhajans, and kirtans, bringing the tales of Lord Krishna to life for the children.

About Celebrating Our Culture: Festive Workshops

Every festive workshop I host is a mix of hands-on crafting and simple storytelling. I find that when children mold their own clay Ganesha or paint a T-shirt for Holi, they connect with the festival in a way that just watching a video cannot teach. It is not about perfect art here, but about the joy of making something with your own two hands.

My studio in C.R. Park is a small, quiet space where we strip away the noise of modern life to focus on our roots. Whether it is Janmashtami or Holi, I design each session to be an immersive experience. We start with a story. I want the kids to know why we celebrate before we pick up a brush or a lump of clay. During our Janmashtami sessions, we talk about the significance of the singhasan while we build one from recycled cardboard. For Holi, we skip the chemical colors and focus on Phoolon ki Holi, painting fabrics and making garlands with marigolds. Parents often ask if their toddlers will manage, and my answer is always yes. I keep batches small, between six to ten children, so I can sit with every child. If a three-year-old needs help pressing a palm print onto a T-shirt, I am right there with them. This is not a rigid class. If a child decides their Ganesha should have a different shape, that is perfectly fine. My goal is to build confidence and help them feel proud of their own unique creation. When they walk out of my studio carrying their own hand-painted pot or clay idol, they carry a sense of achievement that stays with them long after the festival is over.

I am the heart behind Curious Minds, and I believe kids need more than just screen time. My studio is a space where we shout, make a mess, and learn about our traditions through play.
