Festive Art Workshops for Families
Bring the festive spirit into your home with art! Whether it is Ganesh Chaturthi, Diwali, or just a holiday mood, I host workshops where we craft, paint, and have a blast together.
A day filled with art, laughter, and little hands creating magic at our Ganesha Art Workshop! This video shows the kids making festive crafts and celebrating together.
Two young artists fully engaged in sculpting their own Ganesha idols from clay. It's a wonderful, hands-on way to connect with the festival.
This little artist is concentrating hard as she shapes her clay Ganesha. I love the focus and care she's putting into her creation.
A beautiful moment of guidance during our Ganesha workshop. I'm here to help even the smallest hands learn the joy of sculpting with clay.
She's so proud of the clay ball she has perfectly rolled, ready to be shaped into a Ganesha. Look at that happy, focused expression!
More happy moments from our Ganesha clay workshop! It was incredible to see so many kids getting their hands dirty and creating their own beautiful idols for the festival.

About Festive Fun: Holiday & Themed Workshops
Whether you are making a clay Ganesha or festive wall hangings, I handle all the setup and the cleanup so you can focus entirely on the messy, fun part. These sessions are the perfect way to swap store-bought decorations for something your family actually made together.
Festive celebrations often involve frantic last-minute shopping. At YoungPlum, we do it differently. My studio in Punjabi Bagh transforms into a hub of creativity during festival seasons like Ganesh Chaturthi, Diwali, and Dusshera. Instead of buying generic decor, we spend our sessions getting hands-on with clay, paints, and craft supplies to make something meaningful that actually goes up on your walls or altars.
What to expect:
- Clay & Sculpting: We break down complex forms—like a Ganesha idol—into simple, manageable steps that even kids can follow.
- Craft & Decor: From festive hangings to wall art, we use varied mediums to match the holiday theme.
- No Judgment Zone: If your clay idol looks a bit lopsided, that is part of the charm. It shows it was made by hand, not a machine.
I provide all the materials, from the clay and paints to the aprons. You just bring your enthusiasm. These workshops are specifically designed for mixed age groups, so you can join in alongside your kids. It is an easy way to build traditions without the stress of managing a project at home. If you have a specific festival coming up, check my schedule or send me a message to see what we are currently planning.
