Justbe: A Plant-Based Sanctuary of Taste and Tradition
Welcome to our home in a 90-year-old heritage bungalow, where we serve food that heals, connects, and loves you back.
I believe a restaurant should feel like a warm living room, not a cold, formal space. That's why I created Justbe in a 90-year-old heritage home, a place where you can come with family, friends, or even by yourself and feel completely at home. We have a travelling library, board games for you to enjoy, and we welcome your furry friends with open arms. This is your home away from home, where my team and I take care of you like family.
This is our ‘Amigo’ Superfood Bowl, and it’s a perfect example of how we make food that loves you back. It features tangy quinoa, creamy avocado for healthy fats, broccoli for antioxidants, and dates for natural sweetness. It's a complete, balanced meal packed with protein and fiber to fuel your day without feeling heavy.
This is a taste of my home. Our Bihari Babu thali features smoky baingan bharta, mustard-kissed aloo chokha, and soft palak and sattu parathas. These are the flavors I grew up with, rooted in tradition and crafted with love to bring the authentic culture of Bihar to your plate.
Who says pizza can't be healthy? Our special Bean Pizza breaks that myth. We use a whole-wheat base topped with protein-rich refried beans and our house-made, dairy-free cashew cheese for that creamy goodness. It's a guilt-free indulgence that is both satisfying and nourishing.
Indulgence should be joyful, not guilt-ridden. Our exotic Blueberry Cheesecake is a testament to that belief. Crafted with fresh blueberries and a creamy, plant-based filling, it's a decadent dessert that is completely vegan and made without any refined sugar, so you can satisfy your sweet tooth with a smile.
This herbal infusion is a recipe that has been passed down through generations in my family. It contains no caffeine or tea leaves, just a blend of 21 healing herbs and spices from our kitchen. It’s the first thing I have when I enter Justbe, a warm, soulful cup that connects me to my roots.
The old almond trees at Justbe have stood here for decades, offering shade and a sense of stillness. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a meal, read a book from our travelling library, and reconnect with yourself. We believe in sharing more than just food; we share stories, silence, and soul-soothing moments.
For our eighth anniversary, I wanted to share the food I grew up eating, the nostalgic flavors from my mother's kitchen. One guest told me they visited Rajasthan but never tasted food like this. That’s because this isn't restaurant food; it's my home food, filled with love and memories, and you can only find it here at Justbe.
About Featured
You won't find refined sugar, oil, or maida in our kitchen. Instead, we use generational secrets—like my father-in-law's 21-spice herbal tea blend or family-inspired thalis—to prove that plant-based food can be deeply satisfying. It’s not just about what we take out; it’s about what we put in: ingredients that genuinely love you back.
Justbe isn't just a restaurant; it’s a movement born from a desire to show that healthy, conscious eating doesn't require sacrifice. Set in a 90-year-old heritage home in Sadashiva Nagar, our space is designed to be a living room for the community. We host a travelling library, board games, and quiet corners where you can simply be.
The Food Philosophy
We take global comforts and ground them in plant-based, whole-food principles. Whether it's our whole-wheat Bean Pizza with house-made dairy-free cashew cheese or our Bihari Babu thali—inspired by the flavors I grew up with—every dish is crafted to be gentle on your body. We avoid the 'ghaas-phoos' stereotype entirely by focusing on rich textures, smoky depths, and traditional spices.
Wellness Beyond the Plate
Dining here is just one part of the journey. Our space also features a sound healing studio where we facilitate sessions with over 35 rare instruments, helping you reset in a quiet zone.

I didn't set out to open a restaurant; Justbe chose me. It’s a 90-year-old heritage space where we serve food that heals, designed to feel like a warm living room rather than a formal cafe. Come sit under our almond trees, grab a book, and let the food love you back.
