Why Justbe Exists
I didn't set out to open a vegan cafe - life just landed me here, and honestly, pata hi nahi chala (didn't even realize) how eight years flew by. Justbe is more than a restaurant; it's my way of building a movement around food that heals, connects, and genuinely loves you back.
Not Your Typical 'Ghaas-Phoos' Joint
I get it, people think vegan food is boring ghaas-phoos (just grass and leaves). But here, we're flipping that idea. Everything is 100% plant-based, made fresh from scratch. No oil, no maida (refined flour), no refined sugar. Think house-made cashew cheese, vegan burrata, and fresh focaccia - all packed with actual flavor.

And then there’s mummy ke haath ka khana (mom’s homemade food) - my Parathe Wali Gully thali brings that desi home vibe with spinach paratha, vegan dal makhani, and makhani aloo.

Salads switch up with the seasons - expect sprouts, quinoa, watermelon with tofu feta, and ice apple. Desserts? Gluten-free vegan desserts like Sweet Potato Mud Bites, Cake in a Jar, and Indian sweets you can eat without feeling guilty.
The Space & Community
Set in a 90-year-old heritage home, Justbe is meant to feel like your own cozy adda (hangout). Outdoor greenery, indoor nooks, furry friends welcome. We’ve got a travelling library, board games, and host festival feasts with lost recipes getting a plant-based twist.

My Story
Honestly, I never thought I’d run a restaurant. Justbe kinda happened to me, like destiny. Turning plant-based changed everything, and suddenly, this space grew out of my own home’s food memories—Maa Sa’s kitchen, Maharaj ji’s magic, even our 21-spice tea recipe from my father-in-law’s side. We’ve seen ups and downs, COVID and all, but love and tradition keep us going. It’s not just a restaurant, it’s a place to heal, chat, and just be.
