The master suite in 'The Flux Abode' features an emerald green bed set against an ivory wall with floral wallpaper inlays. The design is a perfect blend of contemporary sophistication and subtle luxury.
The bedroom includes a full wall of custom wardrobes with a built-in study nook. The fluted texture on the lower drawers and brass handles add a layer of refined detail.
For one of the matriarchs' rooms, I juxtaposed a rugged concrete texture wall with vibrant teal details. The arched dressing mirror and upholstered headboard soften the industrial feel.
This master suite in 'Project Varnika' is defined by a stunning four-poster bed and custom floral wallpaper. I used soothing pastels and rich wood to create a romantic and timeless retreat.

In 'Bohemian Bliss', the master bedroom follows a Brit-chic theme with a cerulean and alabaster palette. The sliding wardrobe has a modern, graphic design, and wall moldings add a classic touch.
This guest bedroom in 'The Boho Escape' uses a calming blend of ivory, greige, and lavender. The feature wall combines textured paint, fluted paneling, and a beautiful floral wallpaper arch.

Designing a bedroom is about more than choosing a color palette. It is about how the room supports your routine. In my experience, the most successful bedrooms are those where storage is invisible but accessible.
Custom Storage & Layouts
I specialize in custom wardrobe designs that address the specific constraints of Bangalore apartments. I frequently use floor-to-ceiling storage with sliding mechanisms to maximize vertical space. When a client needs a dresser but lacks the floor space, I engineer a vanity or dresser unit that retracts into the wardrobe itself. This keeps the room visually clean, which is essential for a serene environment.
Material Selection & Texture
I rely on a mix of materials to build depth. I use walnut finishes for warmth and fluted panels to create structure without visual weight. For those who want personality without clutter, I often use custom wallpaper—sometimes encased in glass on wardrobe shutters—to introduce patterns that do not demand attention but add character. Concrete textures paired with brass inlays are another favorite of mine, as they ground the room and provide a subtle, industrial contrast to softer furnishings.
Lighting & Mood
Lighting should be layered. A single ceiling light is rarely enough. I plan for task lighting near reading nooks and ambient, warm-toned profile lights inside coves. This allows the room to transition from a bright, functional space for dressing to a dimly lit, quiet zone for rest.
If you have a challenging room layout, I look for ways to hide structural pillars or juts behind headboards or paneling, ensuring the finished result looks intentional, not compromised.
