Custom Interior Design Details & Functional Home Elements
Small, functional details often define how you actually live in your home. From space-saving puja units to entry foyers, here is a look at the specific design elements we use to make apartments more livable.

About this collection
Many apartments force you to compromise on dedicated spaces, especially when it comes to a puja area or entry storage. I focus on creating these spots without eating into your floor space, using fluted glass, lattice grids, or multi-functional furniture like console tables that double as dining surfaces. It is about making every square foot earn its keep.
The secret to a functional home is not just the big furniture but how you handle the in-between spaces. My approach to these details relies on one simple rule: everything must serve a purpose. In projects like The Flux Abode or Bohemian Bliss, I integrated puja units that provide privacy without visual clutter. By using frosted glass or latticed wood grids, I create a sense of seclusion for prayer areas that feel like a natural part of the living room, not an afterthought.
Similarly, when I look at foyers and storage, I avoid bulky additions. If you see a console table in my work, it is likely doing double duty, perhaps expanding into a dining table or concealing shoe storage. I use fluted panels and arched moldings not just because they look good, but to introduce texture and depth to plain walls, breaking the monotony of standard white paint.
Materials are selected for low maintenance and high impact. I prefer using wood laminate for durability, paired with textured wallpapers or concrete-finish paints for visual interest. Whether you are dealing with a compact studio or a 3 BHK, the strategy remains: identify the pain points, create a custom joinery solution, and ensure the finish survives daily wear and tear. If you are struggling with a tight floor plan or just need a specific unit that fits perfectly, my team and I handle the design and fabrication in-house to ensure it meets our quality standards.
