This guest room is designed to be a fully functional home office. The Murphy bed is completely concealed within the wooden cabinetry, providing a spacious work area without sacrificing the ability to host guests.

For this 850 sq.ft apartment, I designed a custom folding dining table and bench set. When expanded, it comfortably seats a family, and when folded, it becomes a sleek wall feature, ensuring clear circulation.
Here is the folding dining set completely tucked away. This solution is perfect for compact homes, as it frees up valuable floor space while still providing the function of a full dining area when needed.
About this collection
When I look at a compact floor plan, I do not see limitations. For example, in our recent projects, we have replaced traditional, space-consuming dining tables with custom folding table and bench sets that tuck away seamlessly into the wall. This ensures your circulation paths stay open and your living area remains versatile, allowing you to reclaim valuable floor space whenever you need it.

In a city like Bangalore, space is often the most expensive commodity. My approach to space-saving is not about cramming furniture into corners, but about creating systems that serve two purposes.
Why Smart Storage Matters
- Murphy Beds (Wall Beds): These are my go-to for guest rooms or home offices. When folded up, the room functions as a productive work zone. When you have guests, it transforms into a comfortable bedroom in seconds.
- Concealed Storage: We often integrate storage behind mirror panels or within wall paneling. This removes visual clutter and keeps your daily essentials out of sight, which is crucial for maintaining a minimalist aesthetic.
- Dry Closets: A simple but effective addition for modern bedrooms, these units feature aeration cutouts, allowing you to hang lightly used clothes that aren't quite ready for the laundry pile but don't belong on a chair.
