In many of my recent projects, I have integrated pull-out poufs directly into the joinery, giving you a dedicated vanity seat that disappears completely when not in use. It is exactly these kinds of small, intentional details that turn a cramped closet into a functional dressing area, keeping your floor space clutter-free and your routine seamless.
I approach bedroom design as the most personal sanctuary in your home. It isn't just about picking a wall color or a headboard design; it is about ensuring the layout actually improves your daily routine. We start with your specific needs, whether that is maximizing storage in a compact apartment or creating a luxurious hotel-style master suite.
My process is transparent. We begin with mood boards and 3D renders so you see the final look long before we start any civil work. This means no surprises. If you are worried about the humidity in Bengaluru, I use BWP marine ply for all cabinetry and wardrobe carcasses to ensure longevity. We pair this with high-end hardware from brands like Hettich and Blum, so those drawers and shutters operate smoothly for years.
When it comes to aesthetics, I lean into what makes you comfortable. Some clients want the calm of a neutral palette with soft, layered lighting, while others prefer something bold, like an edgy leather headboard or dramatic accent walls. And for those awkward structural issues, like an oddly placed duct or a column that ruins your layout, I do not shy away from them. I find a way to work around or integrate them into the furniture design, a philosophy I call 'Kar denge'.
