Refined Living and Dining Interior Design
A home’s living and dining areas are where life unfolds. My approach focuses on creating environments that balance openness with intimate comfort, using natural textures to define how a space feels.
The central conversation area at the Siroi Lilly villa is a study in balanced comfort. I paired the inviting texture of bouclé couches with a soothing beige palette and a delicate, sculptural chandelier to create a space that is peaceful, functional, and beautiful.
Another view of the Siroi Lilly living area, showing its relationship to the floating staircase. The design uses curved furniture and a circular rug to create a soft, defined social hub within the larger open space.
This perspective of the Siroi Lilly living room highlights the open, airy feel. The design connects the seating area to a bar and dining space in the background, all unified by a consistent material palette and a stunning feature chandelier.
This video shows the flow of the minimalist interiors at the Siori Lilly Villas. The design is impactful yet understated, using a soft, Scandinavian-inspired aesthetic to create a sense of calm and sophistication.
A glimpse of the dining area at Siori Lilly Villas. The space is defined by soft, organic forms, from the sculptural mirror to the paper-like pendant lights, creating a gentle and inviting atmosphere for meals.

Great design rewrites the rules. This living room takes its color inspiration from nature but reinterprets it in a refined palette with pops of olive green. Here, texture and proportion take center stage, crafting a sense of luxury that feels fresh and unexpected.
A different configuration of the nature-inspired living room, showcasing a white chaise lounge. The curved forms of the furniture and the use of a plush, textured rug create a soft and inviting environment.
Materiality is key to defining spaces without walls. In this design, I used a palette of wood, terrazzo, and metal to delineate the dining and kitchen areas. The repetition of arches in the wood paneling and doorways creates a sense of rhythm and flow.
This view shows how the arched wooden partition separates the dining area from the kitchen while maintaining a visual connection. The design is a testament to the idea that details, textures, and forms can shape a space more effectively than solid walls.
About Living & Dining Environments
Great design creates structure without needing walls. I often define living and dining zones through subtle shifts in texture and materiality, for instance, pairing a terrazzo floor with warm walnut paneling. This helps guide movement through the room while keeping the floor plan open and light.
My philosophy centers on the dialogue between the built form and human experience. Whether designing a penthouse in Mumbai or a villa in Goa, the goal remains the same: crafting spaces that resonate. In living and dining areas, this means prioritizing flow. We avoid cluttering the room with unnecessary partitions. Instead, we use elements like arched dividers, rhythmic lighting, or contrasting floor materials to subtly demarcate zones. Take the Siroi Lilly villa as an example. Here, the living area flows into the dining space not because of an open plan, but because the materials, bouclé, wood, and stone, communicate with one another. The furniture is selected for both form and ergonomics, ensuring that every seat has a purpose and every angle offers a view. We also pay close attention to light. By strategically placing windows or using reflective surfaces, we ensure these areas remain bright and airy throughout the day. It is about understanding that a home is not static. It is a living, breathing environment, and your interiors should reflect that quiet confidence.
