Real Kabaddi begins in the mud. Training on mitti builds the raw strength, grip, and balance you need before stepping onto the mat for professional tournaments.

About Raw Power: Mitti (Mud) Training

Mitti training is where you earn your stripes. It is not just about getting dirty, it is about building the lower body strength and balance that mat training alone cannot provide. You will face resistance here that forces you to fix your stance, body posture, and grip, preparing you for the unpredictable reality of competitive match conditions.

Building Foundation in the Mud

Most young players run to the mats to show off fancy moves, but they miss the real strength building that happens in the mud. At JD Kabaddi Academy, we believe mitti (mud) is the asli (real) teacher. The uneven surface forces you to stabilize your core and develop lower body power that makes you nearly impossible to move on the mat.

Why Mitti Training Matters

  • Grip & Balance: Mud creates resistance. When you practice your tackle, you learn to dig your feet in, not just rely on momentum.
  • Lower Body Power: The extra effort required to move in mud builds stamina and leg strength, critical for long raids and defensive chain tackles.
  • Mental Toughness: There is no cushion here. If you make a mistake, you feel the ground. This demands focus and respect for the technique.

We combine this with intense drills to ensure that by the time you step onto a professional mat, you are already ahead of the competition. Whether you are working on your ankle holds, thigh holds, or basic raiding stance, training on mitti exposes your flaws so we can correct them before they become bad habits.

This is not training for show. This is training to get you match-ready for state, national, and PKL trials.
