Our Champions: From Academy to Pro Leagues

Getting selected for the Pro Kabaddi League is not about fancy moves, it is about consistency. Every player you see here spent months on our mitti (mud) courts perfecting their balance and posture before moving to the mat. If you are serious about a professional career, you need to understand that we train for endurance and mental toughness, not just for show. Your technique must be bulletproof before you even think about the big stage.

We do not believe in short-cuts at JD Kabaddi Academy. My students like Ashu Singh and Manjeet did not become PKL players by watching television. They became pros because they showed up at 5:00 AM, rain or shine, to work on the fundamentals of raiding and defense.

The path to a professional league is clear but demanding. We start with conditioning. You need the stamina to last 40 minutes of high-intensity play. We utilize army-style running, stair training, and uphill sprints to build this. Once your body is ready, we focus on the technical craft.

For raiders, we drill the Dubki and toe touches until they are muscle memory. For defenders, we work on chain tackles and holding positions under pressure. We use both mud and mat surfaces because mud builds raw, unrefined power, while the mat teaches the speed and precision required for official tournaments.

We maintain strict discipline. From the diet of milk and dahi to the 24/7 coaching supervision in our residential program, everything is designed to produce results.
