Featured Commercial Photography and Fashion Editorials
A curated selection of my work spanning fashion, celebrity portraiture, and conceptual campaigns. These images define my approach: where technical precision meets the honesty of a raw, human moment.
This image is from "The Stars of a Quiet Struggle," a personal series that merges fashion and fine art. It represents my love for finding the iconic in the everyday, setting a high-fashion silhouette against a backdrop of Mumbai's chaotic energy.
A close-up on an exquisite butterfly necklace for Bina Goenka. For luxury jewellery photography, my focus is on capturing the intricate craftsmanship and the way light interacts with every facet, making the piece feel alive.
A portrait of Mahesh Babu and his daughter Sitara for a PMJ Jewels campaign. This shot was about capturing a genuine, warm moment between a father and daughter, creating an image that feels both aspirational and deeply personal.
The vibrant Alia Bhatt in a campaign that was all about bold color and modern energy. This shows my approach to creating high-impact fashion visuals that are clean, graphic, and full of personality.
Capturing the legendary Akshay Kumar in mid-air for Sparx footwear. This dynamic shot was designed to freeze a moment of peak action, highlighting the product's energy and performance capabilities in a visually exciting way.
A black and white portrait of Vicky Kaushal for Police Lifestyle. The goal here was to create a powerful, intense, and moody image that communicates strength and confidence with minimal elements.
From my "Sculptured Portraits" series, this image treats the subject and the jewellery as a single piece of art. The concept uses a milk bath to create a soft, ethereal texture that contrasts with the sharp brilliance of the diamonds.
About this collection
Every shoot here begins with a conversation about intent, not just lighting. Whether we are capturing a high-fashion editorial or a conceptual brand campaign, I insist on a pre-shoot mood board consultation. This allows us to align on the visual strategy, so that on the day of the shoot, the large crew and high-profile talent focus entirely on the performance rather than logistical decisions.
My approach to commercial photography is rooted in the belief that less is more. I often rely on single-source lighting setups to sculpt the subject, letting shadow and form tell the story. This style is consistent across my work, from the "Stars of a Quiet Struggle" series, where I captured the grit of Mumbai, to high-end jewellery campaigns for brands like PMJ Jewels.
In my studio in Lower Parel, I use medium format digital capture to ensure that every texture, from fabric to skin, is rendered with absolute clarity. For my clients, this means images that are ready for large-format billboards without losing detail. My process is heavy on tethering, allowing agencies and clients to review the output in real time on Eizo monitors. This transparency is crucial for high-stakes projects where every micro-detail counts.
Whether the campaign is a luxury jewellery showcase involving focus stacking or a high-energy celebrity portrait, the goal is always to freeze a genuine emotion. I do not aim for perfection in the sterile sense. I aim for honesty. This is why I prefer collaboration with my team of stylists and production assistants. We build a visual identity that is both aspirational and relatable. If you are looking for imagery that feels crafted, raw, and cinematically lit, we should talk.
