About The Process: Behind the Scenes
You will often see me with a laptop tethered to the camera, reviewing frames in real-time with my team and the client. This is not just to check exposure but to ensure we are nailing the narrative and the mood before moving to the next setup. It allows us to experiment with lighting and posing while you are still in character, making sure we get the definitive shot without the guesswork.
A photo session involves more than just a camera and a subject. My workflow relies on a tight-knit team of stylists, makeup artists, and assistants who keep the momentum going throughout the day. Whether we are in my Mumbai studio using seamless backdrops or scouting an outdoor location, the goal remains the same: capturing something real.
When you book a shoot, the pre-production starts with mood board discussions to define the vibe. On the day, we use tethered shooting to monitor every frame on a high-resolution display. This setup gives you immediate feedback, so we can adjust the styling or lighting on the fly. I use gear like the Fujifilm GFX 100 for large-format detail, but the tech is secondary to the energy we create.
Expect a process that moves fast. We work until we get the shot, using high-end modifiers to control every beam of light. If you need commercial usage rights or BTS video content, that is part of the production package. You show up ready, and my crew handles the rest.
