What We Believe
At Jai Hanuman Kusti Akhada, I see wrestling as jivan (life) - not just sport. Amcha mantra aahe (our motto is): 'वाढण्याआधी रुजाव लागतं आणि चमकण्याआधी झिजाव लागतं' (You have to take root before you grow, and you have to wear yourself out before you shine). If you want to start your journey as a Pailwan, this camp is where you find your foundation.
How We Train
Everything starts with discipline and hard work. Under my Vastaad Sandip Dalavi, you’ll get a blend of traditional kushti training and modern techniques.
- Sharir (Body): Expect high-energy outdoor wrestling fitness drills. Warm-ups, sapate (burpees), rope climbing, tires - all to build your strength and stamina.
- Taknik (Technique): We teach wrestling basics, throws, holds, and defensive moves. You’ll spar with others, learning by doing.
- Manas (Mind): I push for discipline first. Every session ends with meditation, a little shantata (calmness), and sometimes stories from real-life heroes to keep you motivated.
Where We Train
You’ll practice in lal mati (red soil) pits and on professional mats. The soil gives you a raw connection to kushti’s history, the mat gets you ready for tournaments.
Who Should Join
If you’re a kid or youth who wants to try wrestling, doesn’t matter if you’ve never done it before - just come ready to work. Commitment matters more than experience.
