Strength & Conditioning: Build Your Engine
We don’t just train, we build machines. If you're ready to push past your limits and join a crew that demands your best, you're in the right place.
Strength training is a core part of our basketball program. We use tools like medicine balls for core work and monkey bars for upper body strength to build powerful, resilient athletes.
We use weighted balls to enhance on-court performance. Training with a heavier ball improves dribbling strength, speed, and endurance when players transition back to a regulation basketball.
Our training philosophy combines on-court skills with dedicated fitness work. We offer sessions that focus on everything from step-ups for leg power to two-ball dribbling for advanced coordination.
We are constantly working towards our goal of becoming stronger and faster. This session includes box jumps for explosive power and core exercises to build a stable foundation.
This is another day of inspiration and hard work. Our athletes engage in dynamic warm-ups and bodyweight exercises like bear crawls to improve mobility and functional strength.
Some days are all about getting stronger. We use resistance bands and plyo boxes to help our athletes build the strength needed for pull-ups and explosive jumps.
The grind doesn't stop. Our sports-based fitness sessions include everything from boxing drills for cardio and coordination to ice baths for proper recovery.
About Strength & Conditioning: The Engine Room
Forget fancy gym memberships where you’re just a number. Our sessions are built around raw, functional movement—medicine ball slams, resistance band work, and plyo box jumps. We track your progress, not just your sweat, making sure every session actually moves the needle on your performance.
Think of this as the Engine Room. You can’t just step onto a court and expect to be an athlete without the foundation to back it up. We focus on sports-led fitness, where every rep is designed to serve a purpose on the court, field, or daily life.
How We Train
We don't do 'easy'. Our approach mixes on-field skills with dedicated Strength & Conditioning (S&C). Whether you are a kid learning physical literacy or an adult getting your edge back, you will be using medicine balls, resistance bands, and agility ladders. We emphasize explosive power through box jumps and hurdle hops, but we are just as strict about recovery, mobility, and injury prevention—because the best athlete is the one who stays healthy.
Why It Works
- No Generic Drills: Every movement is functional. We use bodyweight calisthenics and reactive training to improve coordination and balance.
- The Community Effect: You won't be training in a vacuum. You're part of a crew that shouts for you to 'go faster'. That accountability is why our students actually show up and stay consistent.
- Built for Everyone: Our Youth Foundation program (ages 6-12) builds neurological circuits for balance, while our Advanced S&C program (13+) is a high-intensity, periodized workload designed to push you past your plateaus.
We provide the tools—from the cones and hurdles to the ice baths for recovery—and you bring the 'ziddi' (stubborn) heart. If you are ready to stop guessing and start training, come see what we do.
Insfire Sports
We aren't the quiet coaches standing in the corner with clipboards. We are in the dirt with you, shouting, pushing, and making sure you get better every single day. We built this family because we believe you shouldn't have to train alone, whether you are six years old or thirty.
