I love bringing global flavours into my Mulund kitchen. From viral trends like Dubai chocolate tarts to themed Asia and Euro weeks, this is where I share my travel-inspired baking experiments.

Inspired by the viral Dubai chocolate, I created my own version in a tart. This video shows the making of my Dubai Viral Chocolate Tart, which features a crunchy Kataifi pastry and pistachio cream filling, all encased in pure chocolate.

An announcement for one of my pop-up events, "Asian Week". I love taking my customers on a culinary journey to savour authentic tastes from across the continent.

The first part of the menu for Asian Week. This week we travelled to the Philippines for lumpia and flan, Thailand for roti, and Korea for garlic buns and dalgona toffee cupcakes.

The second half of the Asian Week menu. The journey continued to Japan for katsu sando and mochi, Vietnam for Banh Mi and Boba Tea, and China for spring rolls and mooncakes.

This was the menu for my "Euro-Week". We sampled treats from England, Poland, Greece, Italy, and France, featuring items like pierogies, baklava, tiramisu, and eclairs.

About Around the World in a Week: Global Menus

When I recreate viral desserts like the Dubai Chocolate Tart, I do not just copy the look. I source authentic Kataifi pastry and real pistachio cream to make sure it actually tastes right. If you are eyeing one of these global menu items, remember that these are short-run pop-ups, so they often sell out faster than my regular bakes.

I believe that food is a passport. You do not need a flight to taste the street food of Tokyo or the patisseries of Paris; you just need the right ingredients. My global menus are my way of hosting these culinary journeys. One week we might be crafting Japanese Katsu Sando and mochi, and the next we are perfecting the flaky layers of Greek baklava or Filipino flan.

It is not just about replicating these dishes; it is about making them my own without losing their soul. When I plan an Asia Week or a Euro Week, I spend days sourcing ingredients that make the flavour authentic, not generic. Whether it is the smoky notes in a Vietnamese Banh Mi or the specific crunch of a Dubai-inspired pistachio tart, I keep my from-scratch promise. That means no pre-mixes, no artificial fillers, and absolutely no compromises on the quality of ingredients like real butter and imported chocolates.

These menus are usually limited-edition pop-ups. I release the schedule, we open orders for a few days, and then the ovens go back to our regular rotation. Keep an eye on this space if you want to catch these global flavours before the ingredients run out.

I am Smee. I have spent 30 years at this, and I still get a kick out of learning how to make a perfect Baklava or a proper garlic bun from scratch. Baking for me is a way to travel, so I love bringing these global flavours into my home kitchen for you to try.
