About Dreamy Newborn Portraits

The best window for these dreamy, curled-up portraits is when the baby is just 5 to 15 days old. My studio in Tilak Nagar is kept at a cozy, warm temperature with white noise specifically for this reason, ensuring your little one stays comfortable. I prioritize hygiene above everything else, sanitizing every prop and wrap before your arrival, so you can fully relax while I gently pose your baby.

Why the 5-15 day window matters

Newborns change incredibly fast. Those first two weeks are when they are most comfortable in the natural, womb-like positions that make these portraits so special. They sleep deeper, which allows us to gently place them in baskets, props, or on soft wraps without fuss.

What to expect at my studio

When you arrive at my home studio, the vibe is all about patience. I allocate 3 to 4 hours per session, which gives us plenty of time for feeding, changing, and soothing. I have a collection of soft swaddles, crochet bonnets, and baskets ready, but if you have a special blanket or heirloom you want to include, please bring it along.

Safety and comfort details

  • Temperature: The studio is kept warm and cozy so your baby stays comfortable even without clothes.
  • Hygiene: All props, outfits, and fabrics are thoroughly sanitized before your arrival.
  • Family: Parents and older siblings are always welcome. I usually start with family portraits and then move to the solo newborn setups once the baby is settled and sleepy.

My goal isn't just to get a 'perfect' picture; it is to make sure you look back at these photos and remember exactly how tiny they were.

Hi, I'm Indira. For me, newborn photography isn't about stiff posing—it's about holding that fleeting, tiny magic before it grows up. I’ve spent over a decade documenting these early days, and I treat every baby who comes to my studio like my own family.
