About Celebrating Your Growing Family
Bringing your entire family—from partners and siblings to grandparents—into the frame often creates the most genuine memories. I focus on the unscripted interactions you share, like the way a sister holds a tiny shoe or a father’s quiet pride, rather than rigid poses. It is about documenting the real dynamic of your family as it grows, making sure everyone feels comfortable and present in the moment.
Photography for me is about more than just a well-lit shot. It is about bottling up the fleeting magic of your family life. When we include siblings or grandparents in your maternity or newborn session, the focus shifts to connection. I have spent 13 years learning that kids are unpredictable and often shy, which is why I never force them into a pose. Whether we are at my Tilak Nagar studio or in the comfort of your living room, my process is relaxed.
How We Make It Work
- The Comfort Factor: Photoshoots can feel stressful, but I keep the vibe low-pressure. If a baby needs a feed or a toddler needs a break, we take it. There is no ticking clock that matters more than your family's mood.
- Location Choice: For newborns, my studio in Tilak Nagar is equipped with temperature controls and soft props to keep things safe and cozy. For larger family portraits, we can explore outdoor locations in Mumbai or even keep it candid at your own home.
- The 'Real' Stuff: I do not believe in fake, cakey makeup or stiff smiles. I work with artists who know how to enhance your natural glow, and I encourage you to wear clothes that actually feel like you. If you want to include personal items like family heirlooms or your child's favorite toy, please bring them along. These details anchor the photos to your real life, making them precious yaadein (memories) for the future.
