About Studio Maternity: Modern & Classic Portraits
My Tilak Nagar home studio is designed for comfort, especially away from the Mumbai heat. Whether you want those artistic black-and-white silhouettes that focus purely on your bump or elegant poses in gowns from my personal collection, I ensure the lighting and vibe are perfect. We take our time, usually 2-3 hours, so you don't feel rushed, and yes, you can definitely bring your partner and older kids along for the frames.
Why Choose a Studio Session?
Sometimes, the unpredictability of an outdoor shoot isn't what you need. My home studio in Tilak Nagar offers a controlled environment where we can focus entirely on the details—the curve of your bump, your expressions, and the quiet connection between you and your partner. It is a private, safe space that allows for multiple costume changes and varied lighting setups without worrying about weather or privacy.
The Silhouette Look
These are a personal favorite. By using specific backlight setups, I can create clean, dramatic outlines. These portraits are less about clothing and more about the raw shape of your journey. They look incredibly timeless as black-and-white prints and are a staple in the work I do here.
Styling and Wardrobe
You do not need to stress about what to wear. I have a collection of maternity gowns, flying dresses, and fabrics that work beautifully with my studio lighting. If you prefer a traditional look, you are welcome to bring your own sarees. We typically aim for three costume changes to give you a good mix of styles—from classic portraits to fun, candid shots with your partner.
What Happens During the Shoot?
We keep the pace relaxed. A typical maternity session lasts about 2 to 3 hours, which includes time for breaks. If you are bringing your partner or an older sibling, we incorporate family portraits into the flow of the shoot. My goal is to capture your genuine joy, not just stiff poses. You can expect 15 to 20 professionally retouched images delivered digitally, capturing this fleeting milestone in your life.
