Traditional Saree Maternity Shoots in Mumbai

In my Tilak Nagar studio, I have seen so many mothers-to-be light up when they drape a traditional saree. It brings a grounded, warm energy to the photos that modern gowns sometimes miss. We keep the setup simple and classic, using traditional backdrops that complement the rich colors of your silk or cotton sarees.

We allow up to three costume changes, so you can mix a traditional look with something more contemporary if you like. The session lasts 2 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for you to take breaks, adjust, and truly relax. I do not believe in rushed poses. If you have a family heirloom saree or a specific piece you wore for your engagement, bring it along. It adds such a personal layer to the story.

My process is simple. We coordinate the styling before you arrive, so we can focus on the lighting and your comfort once the shoot starts. Partners and siblings are absolutely welcome, in fact, I encourage it. Those little interactions, like a son hugging the bump or a husband helping with a pallu, are the photos you will look back on with the most love. Whether you are from Chembur, Vashi, or anywhere else in Mumbai, I invite you to bring your own sarees. I will handle the rest, from the lighting to the gentle posing that makes you glow.
