Newborn Photography Sessions in Mumbai
The first 15 days of your baby's life disappear in a blink. I focus on freezing those tiny, sleepy moments, keeping your little one safe and comfortable while creating memories you will hold onto forever.
A sleepy yawn from a 21-day-old newborn. Even as they get a little older, we can still capture these incredibly precious and delicate moments. This little one is resting comfortably on a miniature rattan bed, a popular prop for my newborn sessions.
This behind-the-scenes video shows how I gently pose a sleeping newborn in a swing prop for a dreamy, floating-on-a-cloud setup. Safety and comfort are my top priorities during every newborn photoshoot.
A beautiful newborn girl, wide-eyed and curious, nestled in a floral prop. I love capturing those rare moments when newborns are awake and calm, showing their budding personality right from the start.
The same sweet girl, now peacefully asleep. This photo showcases the classic, serene newborn portrait, with the baby looking angelic and content, surrounded by soft flowers.

This video gives a glimpse into the art of newborn wrapping. Using soft fabrics, I create a snug and secure wrap that keeps the baby calm and comfortable, resulting in these beautiful, peaceful portraits.
About The First Few Days: Newborn Portraits
The golden window for these sleepy, curled-up poses is when your baby is between 5 and 15 days old. During this time, they are still naturally curled from the womb and sleep deeply, allowing me to carefully position them in soft wraps without disturbing their rest. My studio in Byculla is kept temperature-controlled with a white noise machine to ensure your little one stays calm and secure throughout the session.
Creating a comfortable space for a newborn is not just about the props; it is about patience. Since I made the transition from VFX to full-time photography, my focus has been on the raw, unhurried reality of those early days. I handle every wrap and pose with the gentleness I would use for my own family, prioritizing your baby's safety above every shot.
You do not need to worry about the chaos of a photoshoot. I manage everything, from sanitizing the wraps and bonnets to handling the feeding breaks. Because a 3 to 4-hour session can feel long, my studio is set up to be a home away from home where you can sit back, have a coffee, and simply watch the magic happen.
Whether you want classic, minimalist portraits or something slightly more thematic, we discuss this well before the due date. Many parents ask about the awake window or how to manage feedings; my approach is to follow the baby’s lead, never forcing a pose if the baby is unsettled. If you are looking for that specific, peaceful angelic newborn aesthetic, booking your session during your third trimester is the best way to secure your spot.
