About Kung Fu Training
Our Martial Yogi Way
For us, Kung Fu is much more than a workout. It’s how we live, blending the old school (Chinese and Indian martial arts) with fitness that actually works today. We call this the Martial Yogi path. Here, respect, commitment, and enjoying your progress matter just as much as learning a new kick.
What You’ll Learn
- Self-Defense First: Everything starts with using your own body as your best shield. From sharp punches to high kicks, and flowing group forms to partner drills, you’ll get the basics down solid.
- Weapons? Of course: Bo staff, swords, nunchucks, rope dart – we don’t just teach them, we treat them with real respect. Every year, we even do Ayudha Pooja (a little thanks to the tools).
- Getting Strong & Flexible: Expect a lot of stretching (yes, splits are possible), push-ups, stability work, and acrobatics like cartwheels and butterfly jumps. It’s all about building that Kung Fu flexibility and raw strength.
Who’s This For?
Anyone, seriously. From tiny kids who want to play and learn, to grown-ups just starting out, to those who just want to keep moving. Martial arts for kids is a big part of what we do. Girls, boys, doesn’t matter – everyone finds their fire here.
How We Roll
Small groups for personal attention, big batches for vibe. Most days, you’ll catch us outside at sunrise, soaking up that morning energy. We keep it real with regular grading exams and demos, so you always know where you stand.
Jago jago re jago, ninna kanasu ninagu, muttu guriyanna yuva. (Wake up, become your dream, reach your goal.)

IMA-Inspiration Kung Fu
My Story
Started with just me and two students, a summer camp, and a Broad Sword. That madness for kung fu—couldn’t ignore it. On Ugadi 2013, we kicked off proper classes in Namma Mysuru. Now, 10+ years, we’re still here. Kids, seniors, girls, boys, all together, sweating under the sunrise, celebrating Ayudha Pooja as family. My students and instructors, they’re my '4 pillars.' This journey is pure hope. We’ll keep moving, inspiring, growing.
