Handcrafted Ceramic Mugs and Tumblers
I design every mug and tumbler to turn your daily coffee or tea break into a quiet, grounded ritual. From ergonomic grips to nature-inspired glazes, these are pieces made to be held.
This evil eye mug is a powerful and beautiful piece, designed to bring a sense of protection. The deep blue glaze is layered to create depth around the eye, making it a truly striking handmade ceramic mug.

This tall, hand-built mug has a subtle wheat pattern pressed into the clay, giving it a lovely texture. The earthy brown glaze makes it a warm and rustic addition to any kitchen.

This set, including a beach-themed mug and a small three-legged planter, was made by a young artist in one of my workshops. It shows the amazing creativity that can be unlocked with a little guidance.

These grip tumblers are designed with an indent for your fingers, making them incredibly comfortable to hold. Here I am holding three of them to show how they fit together.
A closer look at one of the grip tumblers. The glaze drips down the side, creating a unique pattern on each piece. The top half is glossy while the bottom half is raw, textured clay.
A detail shot of the beautiful, reactive glaze on these grip tumblers. The combination of purple, blue, and white creates a cosmic, dreamy effect.
About Handcrafted Drinkware
I focus on the tactile experience of every sip. Whether it is my signature grip tumblers designed to fit naturally in your hand or double-walled mugs that keep your tea hot while staying cool to the touch, each piece is built to turn a daily habit into a moment of calm.
Every piece of drinkware I create starts as high-fired stoneware. This choice isn't just about aesthetics; it is about practicality. Because I fire my ceramics at high temperatures, these mugs and tumblers are microwave and dishwasher safe, so you do not have to worry about using them every single day.
My glazing process is often experimental. For collections like my Celestial Dunes series, I layer reactive glazes that shift between deep blues, purples, and earthy sand tones. This means no two pieces ever come out looking exactly the same—you get a one-of-a-kind mug that is yours alone.
If you have a specific colour palette in mind for your kitchen or want a set for a gift, I can create custom orders to match your vision. Since everything is handmade, shaped, and fired in my studio, it typically takes 3 to 4 weeks to move from wet clay to the finished piece. When you order, I send you updates on the process so you know exactly how your mug is coming along.
Ihalo Studio
I run Ihalo Studio out of Uttarahalli, where I spend my days turning raw stoneware into functional art. Every mug and tumbler I make is inspired by the textures and colours of nature, from beach sands to monsoon skies. I really just want to make the simple act of having a drink feel a little more human and intentional.
