We believe a home's living space should breathe. Here, the formal living room opens directly into a sunken courtyard, where a frangipani tree becomes a natural centerpiece, blurring the line between indoors and out.

In this video, I explain our design thinking behind the 'Twin Courtyard' concept. Instead of one central void, we split the green spaces to bring light and ventilation to different parts of the home, creating unique, interconnected zones.

We transformed this terrace into a serene outdoor lounge. The design provides a covered seating area for relaxation, surrounded by lush greenery, creating a perfect escape with views of the Bangalore skyline.

This is the exterior of our Twin Courtyard House. The facade is a composition of natural stone cladding and carefully placed greenery, demonstrating how landscape design can be integral to the architectural identity of a home.

Every bit of open space is an opportunity. This balcony is designed as a private lookout, offering a stunning, uninterrupted view of the surrounding greenery, proving that even compact urban homes can have a connection to nature.

A staircase can be more than just functional. In this video, I walk through the design of this semi-cantilevered staircase, which features wider lower steps for informal seating and was built to be safe and comfortable for all family members, including pets.

This 3D visualization shows our design for a modern weekend home. The concept integrates extensive rooftop gardens and green balconies, using a lightweight PEB structure to create a luxurious retreat that feels completely immersed in nature.

A sacred space doesn't have to be enclosed. We designed this pooja area to be part of a double-height courtyard, surrounded by grass and open to the sky, creating a tranquil and spiritual heart for the home.

About Featured

We often look at a central space and ask, why not split it? In our Twin Courtyard House, we broke a single void into two separate green zones. This allows us to funnel natural light and ventilation deep into the living and dining areas, effectively making the home breathe better while keeping each zone functionally distinct.

This is the heart of our project, 'Roots'. We designed this double-height living space to dissolve the boundaries between inside and out. The raw concrete ceiling and Cuddapah stone floor are balanced by the warmth of wood and the vibrant red sofa, creating a space that feels both expansive and inviting, with greenery flowing in from the garden.10
For the 'Big-Little House', we used a perforated brick screen to create a visually striking facade on a compact urban plot. This design provides privacy and ventilation while casting intricate light patterns, proving that even small footprints can have a grand architectural presence.
We believe a home should embrace the entire family, including pets. In our 'Maya House' project, the living room's sliding glass walls completely open up to the garden and patio swing, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor living area for everyone to enjoy together.
This is our 'Triode' multi-family residence, where we explored how to create privacy and community simultaneously. The custom louver system on the facade balances light and shade, connecting the apartments to the surrounding greenery while maintaining a sense of personal space for each family.

We designed this central courtyard to be a tranquil heart of the home. The combination of slate flooring, exposed brick, and lush tropical plants creates a private sanctum that connects the surrounding rooms to nature.8
Here, the home's facade becomes a living garden. We integrated deep planters into the balconies, allowing vines and tropical foliage to cascade down, softening the structure and creating a vibrant, green exterior.
In this double-height living area, we used large skylights to drench the space in natural light. The light plays off the stone wall and nourishes the tall indoor plants, effectively erasing the boundary between the interior and the sky.
This rooftop was transformed into a lush terrace garden. By using built-in planters and a mix of native plants against an exposed brick wall, we created a secluded green retreat with open sky views.

A residence where the structure is defined by its landscape. We designed flowing green roofs and integrated water bodies that follow the natural contours of the building, creating a home that is both part of nature and a comfortable living space.8
This conceptual design shows our exploration of cantilevered structures that support extensive green roofs and a suspended swimming pool. The goal is to create dramatic, functional outdoor living areas that appear to float within the landscape.
For the MCA Pune competition, we reimagined a multi-level parking facility as a terraced garden. This approach transforms utilitarian infrastructure into a public green space, integrating nature into a large-scale commercial project.
In the Neeti Residence, the swimming pool becomes a central feature of the guest level, blurring the line between inside and out. The design uses a long, linear pool flanked by a stone wall and indoor planters to create a serene, private oasis.

A living, breathing green wall designed for a commercial space in Bengaluru. Vertical gardens like this are a powerful way to introduce vibrant nature into urban environments, improving air quality and creating a memorable visual landmark.
An entrance should tell a story. This antique carved wooden door opens into a 3-acre farm retreat we developed, where we planted 250 native trees to create a thriving habitat for local birdlife, turning a simple path into a journey.

This two-tiered bedroom is a self-contained retreat designed to connect with the surrounding farmland. A large window frames the view of palm trees, while a cozy bay window seat offers a place for quiet reflection. The material palette of wood-shuttered concrete and timber adds warmth and texture.
Our Jack Tree House project, featured in Architecture+Design, was designed as a tranquil sanctuary built around a central jackfruit tree. Large windows create the illusion of sitting in a garden while indoors, constantly connecting the inhabitants with nature.
This home in Jayanagar, which we completed in 2018, showcases a living facade that has grown and matured over four years. The cascading plants have blended the building with the landscape, demonstrating our belief that a home should evolve and grow with time.
