We believe your home should not feel like a closed box. By using private courtyards, large sliding glass doors, and consistent flooring, we erase the threshold between your living room and the garden to invite nature inside.

Here, a glass skylight over a portion of the ground floor illuminates the space below while providing a walkable glass floor for the terrace above. This connects two levels of the home with light and greenery.

A simple yet effective outdoor space. The combination of a wooden deck and a small lawn creates a neat, functional backyard area, perfect for a quiet morning coffee.

The living room of the Cube House opens onto a patio through large sliding glass doors. This seamless transition extends the living area outwards and fills the interior with natural light.

Another view of the Cube House living room, showing how the indoor space flows into an outdoor seating area, visually connected by the continuity of the wooden design elements.

Large, floor-to-ceiling windows in this living room frame the exterior greenery, making the garden feel like a part of the interior decor. The design ensures the space is always bright and visually expansive.

This informal living area opens onto a balcony, with a glass-shelved display unit that doesn't obstruct the light or the view. The stone wall continues from the inside out, further blurring the boundary.

A similar view of the informal living space, showing how the sliding doors can be fully opened to merge the room with the outdoor terrace, creating one large, airy space.

A view from the patio looking into the family room. The large glass panels create a sense of transparency, allowing for easy supervision of kids or pets while enjoying the outdoor swing.

This image perfectly captures the indoor-outdoor connection. The patio with its swing chair feels like a natural extension of the interior living space, separated only by a wall of glass.

We designed this family lounge with expansive corner windows to provide an immersive view of the surrounding trees. The built-in L-shaped sofa maximizes seating while keeping the focus on the outdoor scenery.

About Blurring Boundaries: Indoor-Outdoor Spaces

The secret to a seamless transition is not just installing large glass doors, but extending your interior flooring materials and ceiling levels outward to match your outdoor patio. When we use the same stone or wood finish on your balcony or terrace that you have in your living area, the eye does not stop at the threshold, and the space naturally feels larger and more expansive.
