About Featured
We don't do boring, repetitive gym drills. Our sessions for ADHD and Autism support are built around play. Think obstacle courses, agility ladders, and balance games that look like fun, but are secretly training focus, motor control, and impulse management. How We Train
At Hurdles, we believe that 'mehnat kar pasina baha' (work hard and sweat) applies to everyone. For kids with ADHD and autism, we shift the focus from rigid gym exercises to functional, engaging movement. Our curriculum targets motor planning and impulse control using:
- Agility & Coordination: Cones, ladders, and hoops to improve focus.
- Strength & Regulation: Battle ropes, sled pushes, and monkey bars to channel energy safely.
- Balance: Stability balls and BOSU to ground their attention.
- Calm & Flexibility: Yoga and meditation to help them wind down.
Safety First
We know that safety is the biggest concern for parents. Our facilities in Tilak Nagar and Chembur are equipped with shock-absorbing rubber mats and artificial turf to minimize fall impact. We maintain strict security protocols, including 24/7 CCTV surveillance and personnel stationed at exit doors to prevent elopement. All our coaches are certified and trained specifically in special needs management and safety.
Flexible Formats
We offer two main ways for kids to join:
- Private 1-on-1: Ideal for high-support needs. This involves a customized IEP (Individualized Education Plan) targeting specific motor and cognitive goals.
- Small Group: For kids ready for social interaction. Batches of 4-6 students focus on turn-taking, partner exercises like ball passing, and following group instructions.
