The Kyokushin Way: Our Training

Our training is tough and builds both physical and mental strength. We practice in all conditions, focusing on core Kyokushin principles through kata (forms), kihon (basics), and conditioning drills to prepare students for real-world application.

The Arena: Full-Contact Kumite

Kyokushin is full-contact karate, and we train our students to compete with courage and respect. This is where training is tested in state, national, and our own HPKA championship tournaments.

Our Young Warriors: Kids Classes

We welcome children from the age of 5, teaching them discipline, focus, and self-confidence in a structured environment. Our kids' program builds a strong foundation in Kyokushin karate techniques and philosophy.

The Path of Progression: Belt Grading

The journey from white belt to black belt is marked by regular grading exams. These tests are a measure of a student's progress in technique, spirit, and endurance, and are a proud moment for everyone at the academy.

Beyond the Dojo: Camps & Events

We believe in building a strong community through shared experiences like our intense outstation training camps. These events, like our annual summer camp in Ooty, forge strong bonds and push students to new limits.

Our HPKA Family & Dojos

With over 250 students across multiple dojos in Bengaluru, we are more than an academy, we are a family. We have branches in Whitefields, KR Puram, Charitha Classic, Kadugodi, and ThirumalaShetti Halli, all united by the spirit of Kyokushin.

The Spirit of Kyokushin

We are guided by the philosophy of our founder, Mas Oyama, and the principles of the World Kyokushin Kai-Kan. Our motto, "Life begins when fear ends," is at the heart of everything we do.
