About Homemade Marwadi Sweets (Mithai)

Why Our Sweets Feel Like Home

I run Happy Grandmaa Kitchen with my mom, Usha - everyone calls her Dadisaa. We started this because nothing beats the comfort of 'Dadisaa ke haath ka khana' (food from grandma's hands). Our sweets are made the way she always made them - slow, steady, and full of love.

What Makes Our Mithai Special

  • Pure ghee Marwadi mithai only - no shortcuts, no palm oil, no preservatives.
  • Every sweet is homemade and handcrafted in our kitchen, under Dadisaa’s watchful eye.
  • Recipes are old-school, passed down in our family. We slow-roast and cook everything, so the flavours go deep.
  • If you’re after that real taste, you’ll find it here. Sometimes, things take longer, but that’s how the mithai gets its soul.

Our Marwadi Sweets

  • Traditional Marwadi laddoo: Besan Laddoo and Gondh Laddoo (perfect for winter).
  • Homemade Mohanthaal recipe: Rich, fudgy, and a favourite for many.
  • Gulab Jamun: Soft, spongy, soaked in syrup.
  • Meetha Petha (Shakarpara): Crunchy, sweet, and addictive.

We keep experimenting with Dadisaa’s recipe book, so new sweets pop up often.

For Every Occasion

Our mithai fits every mood - festivals, gifting, or just when you crave a taste of home. Honestly, "bas ek aur" (just one more) happens a lot. Har Ghadi Nashto Ghadi! (Every moment is snack time!)

My Story

Khamma Ghani! I’m Meenakkshi and this is my mom, Dadisaa, the real boss in our kitchen. Covid time was tough, but it gave us this dream - Happy Grandmaa Kitchen. Mom started cooking, neighbours started missing ghar ka khana (home food), and soon, her snacks became everyone’s comfort. We kicked off with a Dussehra pooja, and now it’s just us, sharing Dadisaa ke haath ka khana, full of love, tradition, and that home waali warmth.

My Work

Homemade Marwadi snacks, sweets, and pickles - We make everything ourselves - homemade Marwadi nimki, swali, laddus, pure ghee pickles, and festival hampers.

No shortcuts, just honest food - All our goodies are made with pure ghee, no palm oil, no preservatives. Just like how Dadisaa makes for family.

For every craving, every festival - Our snacks fit chai-time, Diwali, Karwa Chauth, or when you just want khaane mein kuch acha (something tasty to eat).

Taste of tradition - We bring you Dadisaa ke haath ro naashto - because nothing’s more comforting than food made with love and old recipes.
