A platter full of our handmade Marwadi snacks and sweets, including crunchy mathri, savoury nimki, rich mohanthaal, and wholesome besan laddoos. We believe our food is addictive in the best way, reminding you of home with every bite.
This is my mother, Usha, who everyone calls Dadisaa. She is the heart of our kitchen, pictured here with a spread of her signature Marwadi nashta that we prepare fresh for you.
A look inside our kitchen where the magic happens. You can see Dadisaa herself overseeing the process, from slow-roasting ingredients for mohanthaal to packing fresh batches of snacks. This is how we ensure every item is truly handmade with care.
Our winter essentials, Gondh Laddoos and Besan Laddoos, are made with pure ghee to keep you warm. We pair them with our tangy homemade achaar for a perfect combination of sweet and savoury Marwadi flavours.
A close look at our soft, spongy Gulab Jamuns soaking in a delicately sweet syrup. We make them fresh so they melt in your mouth, just the way they are supposed to.
Here I am with a bowl of our crispy mathri, and this is our simple promise to you. We make everything by hand without any preservatives, palm oil, or shortcuts, staying true to our traditional family recipes.
We are so grateful for the love we receive. Here is a wonderful testimonial from journalist Nandita Puri, who especially enjoyed our masala mathis and our rich, fudgy mohanthaal.
About Featured
Unlike mass-produced snacks, we follow the 'Mand-aach' method. This means slow-roasting our Besan over a low flame to achieve a perfect granular texture rather than a sticky one. You will not find palm oil or preservatives in our kitchen, just the same traditional recipes Dadisaa has used for decades.
The Taste of Tradition
Our kitchen is a tribute to my mother, Usha—or Dadisaa, as everyone calls her. What started as sharing simple meals with neighbours during lockdown has grown into a space where we preserve old-school Marwadi culinary traditions. We believe that if you are going to eat something, it should be made with patience, purity, and purpose.
Why Our Process Matters
We do not use shortcuts. Whether it is our signature Mohanthaal or the winter-special Gondh Laddoos, every batch is prepared fresh. We exclusively use pure desi ghee and hand-select our ingredients. This is why our sweets have a shelf life that relies on quality ingredients rather than artificial preservatives.
- Slow-Roasted Perfection: We roast our flour over a low flame to ensure the flavours develop fully. This creates a dense, rich texture that you can actually taste.
- No Palm Oil: We keep our ingredients simple and honest. If a recipe calls for Mawa, we source pure Haryali Khoya, never milk powder.
- Family Recipes: Our dishes are not modified for mass production. They are the exact recipes that have been in our family for generations, meant to bring that specific 'home waali' warmth to your table.
