From technical basics to match-day pressure, this is how I build cricketers from the ground up.

This is where it all begins. I focus on the basics, like keeping the bat down and the upper hand tight. We drill these fundamentals until they are perfect, because a strong foundation is everything in cricket.

Here I am working with Nidhi Mahato, one of our DPL players. We use repetitive drills to build muscle memory and mental toughness. I always say, 'Head push kar,' because your head position dictates the shot.

This is the result of discipline and hard work. I am proud to see four of my players selected for the Delhi Premier League. Their success is a testament to the training we do here at the academy.

I teach the details, like the correct grip for a leg spin. Here, I am showing a young player how to hold the ball and use his fingers to get the right rotation. It's this technical focus that builds skilled bowlers.

Fielding is not an afterthought here; it wins matches. We use tools like the rebounder net to sharpen reflexes and ensure our players are quick and agile on the field. Every run saved is a run scored.

Practice should feel like a real match. During our match simulations, I give live feedback to help players think under pressure, find gaps, and run hard between the wickets. This is how you learn to handle the intensity of a real game.

Cricket is played as much with the mind as with the bat and ball. I use whiteboard sessions to discuss tactics, field placements, and power play rules. Understanding the game's strategy is crucial for every player.

A hard day's work must end with proper recovery. I guide my players through cool down and relaxation exercises to prevent injury and prepare their bodies and minds for the next session. Discipline extends to rest, too.

We do not just hit balls in the nets. Every session involves specific technical correction, whether it is grip, stance, or head position, because I will not let you build muscle memory on a flawed foundation. You will be on turf wickets with floodlights, facing real-world pressure through match simulations, rather than doing mindless practice.
