Authentic Homemade Gujarati Food in Bangalore
Missing the taste of real home-cooked Gujarati food? We prepare authentic meals—from Undhiyu to fresh Theplas—cooked fresh only after you place your order.
This is a glimpse of my weekend and festival specials. I prepare complete homemade Gujarati meals, including dishes like Undhiyu, Khaman, and fresh Theplas, so you can enjoy authentic flavours with your family without the stress of cooking.
I offer a variety of homemade vegetable curries, or sabjis, for your daily tiffin. This collage shows some popular options like Bhindi, Sev Tamato, Turiya, Ringan no Oro (baingan bharta), and Drumstick curry, all cooked fresh to order.
A typical special meal order can include a mix of dishes. Here you can see a complete spread with Undhiyu, Methi Thepla, and steamed Muthiya, packed and ready for you to enjoy.
You can customize your meal with your choice of Indian bread. I offer soft, homemade wheat phulka rotis for a light option, and flavorful Methi Theplas for a classic Gujarati taste.
This is a classic Kathiyawadi combination: smoky Ringan no Oro (roasted eggplant mash) served with a traditional Bajri Rotlo (millet flatbread). It's a wholesome and delicious meal option.
For days of fasting, I provide proper Farali food. This dish is a specially prepared potato sabji, served with accompaniments that are suitable for religious fasts, ensuring you get a healthy and yummy meal.
A close-up of my signature winter special, Undhiyu. It's a rich, mixed vegetable dish made with seasonal produce and a blend of aromatic spices, slow-cooked to perfection.
About this collection
We don’t stock food or reheat leftovers. Every order, whether it is a daily tiffin or a weekend Kathiyawadi spread, is cooked from scratch in our home kitchen. Because of this, we require a 24-hour lead time, ensuring that what you get is as fresh as if you had cooked it yourself.
Real Home-Cooked Flavors in Bangalore
Finding consistent Gujarati food in Bangalore can be a struggle, especially when you crave specific textures like soft Khaman or the right spice level in Undhiyu. We started this kitchen because we felt that exact same gap. We are a family-run setup, not a commercial catering unit, which is why our approach to quality is uncompromising.
How Our Kitchen Works
- No Batch Cooking: We strictly follow a made-to-order model. This preserves the nutrients and the genuine homemade taste.
- Customizable Tiffins: You are not stuck with a fixed monthly menu. If you prefer specific rotis like Bajri Rotla or Methi Thepla, or if you want to swap a sabji, just let us know.
- Dietary Needs: Whether you need daily Jain meals (no onion, garlic, or root vegetables) or are looking for Farali options during fasting days, we accommodate these without sacrificing flavor.
What You Can Order
Our menu rotates to keep things fresh.
- Standard Thalis: Includes phulkas, dal, rice or khichdi, and a daily rotating vegetable curry.
- Kathiyawadi Specials: Heartier options like Ringan no Oro and Bajra Rotla, perfect for when you want a rustic, satisfying meal.
- Bulk Snacks: We also prepare travel-friendly snacks like Chevda, Theplas, and Handvo that you can stock up on for the week.
Everything we make uses refined groundnut or sunflower oil and fresh produce, aiming to provide a healthier alternative to restaurant or mass-produced tiffins.
