Recovery & Rehab Fitness Programs
Stop guessing with your recovery. We use science-backed protocols to help you regain your range of motion and rebuild strength safely, without unnecessary joint stress.
This is a client testimonial from Vimla, who came to me for rehab after a major accident and surgery. Her story is a powerful example of how a dedicated, personalized fitness program can help you overcome physical challenges and rebuild your life, one step at a time.
My personal training is 100% result-oriented and tailored to your specific needs, whether you're an athlete or an older adult working on strength and mobility. This video shows clients engaged in different forms of training, from core work to resistance band exercises.
This video explains my approach to rehab fitness. I offer personalized workout plans designed by certified trainers and physical therapists to help you recover from injury, manage chronic pain, and improve your overall health in a state-of-the-art facility.
If you sit for long hours, your body compensates in ways that can lead to pain and stiffness. This graphic introduces five simple exercises I recommend to counteract the effects of a sedentary lifestyle by opening the hips, activating the core, and improving posture.
The Cat-Cow stretch is a fundamental movement for spinal health. Just five minutes of this daily can significantly reduce the risk of chronic back issues by improving spinal flexibility and relieving the stiffness that comes from sitting at a desk all day.
Neck pain is often a symptom of a stiff mid-back. The "Thread the Needle" exercise is designed to improve thoracic spine mobility, which opens up the back and eases compensatory tension in the shoulders and neck.
This back opener stretch is a simple yet effective way to relieve lower back and hip tightness. Studies show that spinal rotation stretches like this can reduce back tightness by up to 40%, making it essential for anyone who spends their day sitting.
Lower back pain is linked to hamstring tightness in about 80% of cases. This dynamic "Squats to Hamstrings" stretch combines hip, spine, and hamstring mobility into one fluid movement to help prevent pain and improve overall flexibility.
Progress is about persistence, not perfection. This video shows a client's journey through our rehab fitness program, highlighting the gradual but steady improvements that come from consistent, guided exercise for post-injury recovery.
Here is another look at Vimla's inspiring recovery. After her accident, she was unable to perform simple tasks, but through our rehab fitness program, she regained the strength to walk, move, and lift, getting back to her normal life.
About Recovery & Rehab Fitness
Rehab at GEX FIT is not about rushing back to heavy lifting. We start with a baseline screening to map your surgical constraints and range-of-motion limitations. From there, we use low-impact resistance bands, Swiss balls, and gait retraining to ensure you are not just sweating, but actually correcting the movement patterns that caused your pain.
When you are dealing with post-surgery recovery or chronic joint pain, the standard gym environment can be counterproductive. Our approach at the Lulu Centre studio in Falnir is different because it prioritizes safety and functional restoration over intensity.
We focus on the science of movement. If you have had an injury or surgery, your body often compensates by overloading other areas, which leads to chronic stiffness. We address this using:
- Targeted Screening: We assess your range of motion in the hips, knees, and shoulders before you ever lift a weight.
- Stability Training: We utilize Swiss balls for core engagement and BOSU balls to build ankle and knee stability without placing load on the spine.
- Gait Retraining: We use stepper boxes and specific floor drills to help you walk with confidence again.
- Low-Impact Resistance: Using latex bands and light 1-3kg dumbbells, we rebuild muscle mass safely.
Our sessions are high-supervision, keeping a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio. We track your recovery objectively, so you know exactly where you stand. This is not about getting back to your old routine overnight; it is about rebuilding your foundation so you can function in your daily life without pain.
