My Korean Cream Cheese Buns are a go-to savory comfort food. I use a soft, pillowy brioche dough that I soak in a rich garlic butter glaze, then stuff with a generous amount of cream cheese. It is that sweet and savory mix that makes them disappear in seconds, whether you are having them for a snack or adding them to a catering spread.
When I am not piping buttercream, I am likely in the kitchen experimenting with savory flavors. Beyond the classic Korean Cream Cheese Bun, I love working with brioche bases to create things like my Chilli Garlic Buns or the Brioche Bombay Chutney Cheese Babka. The Chutney Babka is a personal favorite for how it blends those familiar, spicy Indian notes with a buttery, French-style pastry.
