Dance is not just my profession; it is a sacred offering. Every movement I teach or perform is guided by the blessings of my Gurus, Pandit Birju Maharaj ji and Saswati Sen ji.

A moment that lives in my soul forever: doing 'padhant' (rhythmic recitation) for my guru, Saswati Sen ji, as she performs. This is a core part of the Guru-Shishya tradition, where the disciple provides rhythmic support for the master.

This single frame captures a thousand emotions. To have the trust of my Guru, Saswati didi, while sharing the stage with her is a blessing beyond words. To my guru, I offer my salutations.

A moment of reverence during Guru Purnima, receiving blessings from my guru Saswati didi in front of a portrait of our paramguru, Pandit Birju Maharaj ji. I am eternally grateful for their presence in my life.

With the blessings of Maharaj ji, I had the privilege of offering a dance performance at the feet of Sai Baba in Shirdi. Performing as part of the Kalashram family is always a deeply spiritual experience.

Another moment from our performance in Shirdi, with my fellow disciples from Kalashram. We carry the legacy of our guru, Pandit Birju Maharaj ji, in our hearts and in our dance.

About In the Footsteps of My Gurus

You might notice me performing padhant (rhythmic recitation) for my Guru in the images here. This is not just a performance choice; it is the essence of my daily practice. When you train with me, I do not just teach choreography; I pass on the same discipline, technical clarity, and rhythmic precision that I received at Kalashram.
