My Students' Journey
I am incredibly proud to see my students perform and win accolades at national competitions like Bal Kala Utsav. Following the Guru-Shishya tradition, I focus on building a strong foundation in both technique and devotion, nurturing the next generation of artists.
Kathak Classes & Workshops
I offer regular classes for all levels at my Andheri West studio, as well as specialized online and offline workshops. My teaching is rooted in the Lucknow Gharana, focusing on everything from foundational techniques to complex choreographies.
Rhythmic Mastery (Nritta)
This collection showcases the pure dance aspect of Kathak, known as Nritta. It includes technical compositions like Paran, Toda, Amad, and Uthaan, demonstrating intricate footwork, graceful movements, and precision within various rhythmic cycles (Taals).
Expressive Storytelling (Abhinaya & Gat)
Through Abhinaya (facial expressions) and Gat (stylized walks), I explore the narrative soul of Kathak. These pieces bring to life stories and emotions, from playful depictions of Lord Krishna to devotional compositions.
Awards & Recognition
I am humbled and grateful to be recognized for my dedication to Kathak. These honors, including the Rashtriya Achiever Award and being a Doordarshan Graded Artist, are blessings from my gurus that inspire me to continue sharing this art form.
In the Footsteps of My Gurus
My dance journey is a blessing bestowed upon me by my revered gurus, Pandit Birju Maharaj ji and Saswati Sen ji. Every performance and class is an offering of gratitude, continuing the sacred Guru-Shishya parampara they entrusted to me.
