Expressive Movement and Dance Flow
A glimpse into my personal practice sessions where I move, breathe, and simply let go. These moments are where I find my own grounding before I guide others.
A moment of pure bliss in the studio. Dance has added so much life to my existence, and on days like International Dance Day, I am filled with gratitude for this beautiful art form.

Caught in a moment of flow during a practice session. This is what it looks like to be completely lost in the movement, a core part of the expressive dance experience I share.

Grounded and connected to the floor. So much of expressive dance is about feeling the earth beneath you and letting that connection inform your movement and release.

About Additional Work
These sessions aren't about perfecting technique or memorizing a routine. Instead, I focus on somatic movement, where the music helps you tap into your emotions and release tension physically. Whether you are swaying or moving with more energy, the goal is simply to let your body lead, not your mind.
I see many people come into the studio with a heavy mind, thinking they need to know how to 'dance' to participate. That is not the case here. This practice is rooted in the idea that movement is a natural language, not a performance. When I hold these sessions, I am not teaching choreography. I am holding a safe, trauma-informed space for you to explore what is inside.
We usually start with some breathwork to ground ourselves, then move into a freestyle flow that is tailored to the current energy of the group or the individual. If you are based in Bengaluru and looking for a way to process emotions that does not involve talking, this is a gentle, effective alternative. It is about being in your body, feeling the music, and leaving the noise of the city behind for a few hours. Whether you are at a wellness studio in Indiranagar or a private space, the intention remains the same: to find a bit of jaado (magic) and freedom in simply moving.
