Prenatal Strength and Mobility Training
Pregnancy is a transition, not a pause button. We focus on safe, functional strength and mobility so you stay active, confident, and pain-free right up to your delivery.
This is my client Janhvi, glowing with strength at 8 months pregnant. Our sessions included a variety of exercises like TRX squats for leg strength, weighted glute bridges for pelvic stability, and mobility work to ease discomfort. This is a perfect example of how I adapt workouts to be safe and challenging throughout pregnancy.
This clip showcases the variety in my prenatal and postnatal training programs. You can see a client working on assisted squats to perfect her form and build lower body strength, which is crucial for carrying pregnancy weight. Each movement is tailored to the individual's stage and fitness level.
About Prenatal Strength & Mobility
Squats are often the first exercise women stop doing during pregnancy, but they are crucial for pelvic health. I use TRX suspension bands to give you the stability you need, allowing you to build essential leg strength without the fear of falling or stressing your lower back. We modify the movement to match your specific trimester, ensuring you keep moving safely.
Training Through Every Trimester
Pregnancy changes your center of gravity and creates new strains on your body. My job is not to tell you to slow down, but to help you adapt. Whether it is TRX-assisted squats to maintain glute strength or stability ball work to relieve pressure on your spine, we keep the work functional and safe.
More Than Just Weights
- Labor Prep Breathwork: We focus on diaphragmatic breathing that helps manage stress during your pregnancy and serves as a vital tool during delivery.
- Pain Management: We specifically target common issues like sciatica and round ligament pain with mobility drills, helping you avoid that 'pregnant waddle' discomfort.
- Nutrition Without the Stress: Forget fancy diets. I focus on simple, sustainable swaps—like moving from maida to aata noodles. You can’t leave everything at once, so we make small, manageable changes that stick.
Why Train With Me?
I’ve trained clients through their 8th month, and I’ve seen firsthand how staying active makes recovery significantly smoother. My approach is strictly personalized—if you’re feeling tired, we focus on mobility and breathwork; if you’re energetic, we turn up the strength training. My studio in Sector 109, Gurugram, is a judgement-free zone where we focus on progress, not perfection. Your body is gold, so let's keep it strong together. Chalo, shuru ho jao.
