Flexibility and Mobility Training for Combat Sports
Flexibility isn't an extra add-on here. Whether you are training for MMA or just want to move without pain, my mobility flows are built to keep you agile, injury-free, and strong.
A narrow escape! This advanced stretching drill using a weight plate tests my flexibility and core control. It's a great way to deepen the stretch.
The bamboo that bends is stronger than the oak that resists. A deep backbend in front of a waterfall, showing how I incorporate flexibility training even while traveling.
Embrace your body. It's the only one you'll ever have. This flow from a side lunge into a full split is a testament to dedicated flexibility work.
About Flexibility & Flow
If you think flexibility is just about touching your toes, this is not that kind of class. I use active mobility drills—like the weighted plate flows you see in my gallery—to force your body to build strength at its end range. It is not just about getting limber; it is about making your joints bulletproof so you can throw strikes and handle takedowns without tearing a ligament.
For me, mobility is the secret to longevity in combat sports. Most people treat stretching as an afterthought, but in my sessions, it is a non-negotiable part of the warm-up and cool-down.
We focus on three core pillars:
- Active Range of Motion: We move through dynamic flows rather than static holds. This helps you gain control over your muscles when they are stretched to the max, which is crucial for high kicks and defensive escapes.
- Injury Prevention: Having recovered from my own ligament tears, I know exactly where the weak spots are. My routines are specifically designed to reinforce tendons and ligaments, giving you stability where you usually feel fragile.
- Combat Readiness: A fighter who cannot move their hips efficiently is a target. We break down the mobility required for boxing footwork and grappling transitions, ensuring you are not fighting against your own stiff body.
Whether you are training for competition or just want to feel stronger in your daily life, these sessions will change how you view your body. We train at gyms across Delhi NCR or out in the parks—the environment changes, but the grind stays the same. Expect to sweat, shake, and eventually, move with a level of freedom you did not know you had.
