Kids Agility, Fitness & Flexibility Training
Build strength, speed, and confidence with our dynamic fitness sessions. We blend Taekwondo basics with fun agility games and gymnastics to keep kids active and eager to learn.
A look at the gymnastics portion of our summer camp. Students practice cartwheels and backbends on a mat to improve flexibility and body control.
We incorporate Tabata workouts and other fitness drills into our camp. This helps build the stamina and strength needed for Taekwondo.
Flexibility is key to powerful kicks. Our students work on their splits and other stretches daily to improve their range of motion.
Fitness can be fun. Here, students do sit-ups and other core exercises as part of their warm up routine.
We use fun coordination games to improve reflexes and teamwork. It's a great way to break up intense training sessions.
A fun agility game using cones. These activities help our youngest students develop speed, coordination, and focus while playing.
About Agility, Fitness & Flexibility
Our sessions swap boring drill-work for something kids actually enjoy. We use obstacle courses, Tabata-style intervals, and basic gymnastics like cartwheels on our 25mm EVA foam mats to build real-world stamina. It is all about functional movement that makes them faster, stronger, and more confident for their next sparring match or belt test.
Why Agility Matters
Taekwondo is fast. To stay ahead, students need more than just technique; they need explosive power, sharp reflexes, and a flexible body that can handle high kicks without injury. We don't believe in repetitive, monotonous workouts that bore kids. Instead, we keep the energy high by integrating agility ladder drills, shuttle runs, and core-strengthening games that challenge their coordination.
The 'Fit and Fight' Approach
Gymnastics & Stretching Flexibility is the foundation of every powerful kick. We dedicate time to assisted stretching and basic gymnastics, such as backbends and cartwheels, which build the range of motion necessary for Taekwondo while keeping the body resilient.
High-Energy Conditioning We use Tabata and circuit training to boost cardiovascular endurance. Because our sessions are held at the Asmita Club in Mira Road, we maintain a focused, safe environment with specialized flooring, ensuring students can push their physical limits without the risk of hard landings.
Beyond the Mat
These fitness drills aren't just for Taekwondo; they help with posture, focus, and general athleticism. Whether a student is preparing for a belt promotion or just starting their journey, these classes teach them that hard work—when combined with play—leads to results. We track progress through consistency, ensuring every student leaves the mat feeling like a champion.
Fit and Fight Taekwondo Academy
We’re Aakash and Prashanjeet, and we believe fitness should be the best part of a kid's day. We don't just teach martial arts—we create a space where every child finds their rhythm, builds real strength, and leaves class feeling like a winner.
